Hawaii NASED Project Relaunches with RFI

After months (years, actually) of twists and turns, Hawaii’s Stadium Authority and Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) unveiled their new approach to procuring the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District (NASED) P3. DAGS published the RFI in June, and an  RFQ for the project is planned for this fall.

Preferred Bidder Selected for Clackamas County Courthouse Project

Clackamas County, Oregon has approved the preferred proposal for its courthouse replacement P3. The county selected Fengate PCL Progress Partners (FP3) as its preferred bidder for the project. On June 30th, the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners approved the procurement selection and draft project agreement.

Colorado Law Provides Broad Authorization for Social Infra P3s

Colorado Senate Bill SB22-130 has now officially become law. The legislation provides a broad authority for all branches of the state government to enter into P3s for social infrastructure. The law does not modify existing P3 authorities for the state department of transportation or institutions of higher education.

Clackamas County Courthouse P3 Report Goes to OR Legislature

In January, the Oregon Legislature’s Joint Ways and Means committee received a requested report on Clackamas County Courthouse P3 to finalize the state cost share for the project. The project would be Oregon’s first DBFOM P3 for a replacement courthouse, and the latest in a trend for courthouses and other social infrastructure projects.
