Maryland’s Board of Public Works (BPW) unanimously approved a new project agreement for the Purple Line last month, finally ending a multi-year restructuring for the project. Purple Line Transit Partners (PLTP) is now moving forward with financing the new concession, and construction under the new design-build contract could be back underway in a matter of weeks.
