After announcing a new “Choice Lanes” initiative and then passing enabling legislation earlier in the year, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) ended 2023 by designating four target corridors for the new express lanes projects. The four targeted Choice Lane corridors were designated as part of a broader long-term infrastructure and transportation investment plan, which was published in December.
