Maryland OP Lanes Approaches Finish Line, and an Election

The race to complete federal permitting and award the first major work package of Maryland’s OP Lanes program is coming down to the wire. It has long been a goal of Governor Hogan’s administration to get the project permitted and underway before his final term in office ends after the November elections. It has also long been a goal of the project’s opponents to ensure that does not happen. As the end of the year approaches, both sides are working feverishly to achieve their goals.
