Hawaii has finally, officially selected a predevelopment partner for the massive Aloha Stadium redevelopment and entertainment district P3 planned in central Oahu, called the New Aloha Stadium and Entertainment District (NASED). In October, the state’s Department of Accounting and General Services announced the approval of Aloha Halawa District Partners (AHDP) as preferred offeror for the P3. Of the three teams shortlisted earlier this year, AHDP was the sole bid team still remaining in the procurement.
AHDP is led by Development Ventures Group, Stanford Carr Development, Ameresco, and the Cordish Company. The construction team includes Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company and AECOM Hunt. The design team includes RMA Architects, Populous, SB Architects, Henning Larsen, Alakea Design Group, and WCIT Architects.
