The Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) announced that it is entering a predevelopment agreement with East County Connection Partners (ECCP) to bring the county’s micro transit system one step closer to becoming reality. ECCP is a joint venture between Plenary Americas, Flatiron and transportation technology company Glydways. The project will deliver a 28-mile, traffic separated autonomous transit system in which passengers will travel in autonomous shuttles developed by Glydways. The predevelopment team also includes Circlepoint, Inc. as the Environmental Advisor and InfraStrategies, LLC as the Strategic Funding Advisor.
