Successful P3s lead other cities to consider similar P3s. The anticipation of federal funding opportunities leads cities to consider them faster. The city of San Jose is moving very quickly towards a predevelopment agreement for its own airport connector project, releasing an RFP/Q for the program this month. The project will connect the city’s airport with its transit network, running three to four miles (depending on alignment) to Diridon Station.
