took over as editor of PWF in 2020. Michael has been researching and writing infrastructure finance, policy and public-private partnerships for seven years, and currently teaches Project Finance at Stanford University. Michael’s research work is focused on risk assessment for infrastructure projects, the P3 procurement process and market development, and multilateral and bilateral infrastructure lending, and infrastructure project permitting and stakeholder engagement.

Michael received his MBA and MS from Stanford, and his undergraduate degree from West Point. Prior to working at Stanford, Michael served as an engineer officer in the US Army and US Army Corps of Engineers.
