Exploring Risk Factors Affecting Sustainable Outcomes of Global Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Projects: A Stakeholder Perspective

Eoin Reeves, ed.

Article by Zilin Li and Haotian Wang

This paper is motivated by the recognition that the outcomes of PPP projects often fall short of expectations due to various internal and external risk factors that persist throughout the project’s lifecycle.  The paper therefore aims to examine the factors that contribute to the success or failure of PPP, with a particular focus on the impact of risks that transcend national borders. To achieve this goal, the study draws on a global database and a quantitative approach to validate existing literature on the key determinants of PPP outcomes.
